Mrs. Edith Wolfe, 54, died Monday evening in her home, 8178 Sparling road, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Pfc. D. James Wolfe, overseas, William W. Wolfe, Port Huron; four daughters, Mrs. George Clark, Sparlingville, Mrs. Harold Dennison, and Mrs. Daniel Hutchinson, Port Huron, and Mrs. Hazen Kilbourne, Wales Township; one brother Roy Pifer, Port Huron; five sisters, Mrs. John Neil, Mrs. Richard Moses, Mrs. Ford Kiteley, Mrs. Earl Bechtel and Mrs. Elmer Sharette, all of Port Huron, and 15 grandchildren. Mrs. Wolfe was born in Fremont, Sanilac County, Oct. 22, 1890. She was a resident of Port Huron 16 years, and for two years has resided in Wales Township. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home. Rev. William Boyd if the Pentecostal church will officiate. Burial will be in Fremont cemetery, Sanilac County. Remains will be in the Earl Bechtel residence, 1604 Twelfth Avenue, until Thursday afternoon.
