Ronnie Leon Taylor, 46, of Tehachapi, Calif., formerly of Peoria, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at his home.

He was born Aug. 29, 1960, in Kansas City, Mo., to Benjamin Leon and Melba Louise Fletcher Taylor. He married Lisa Taylor on Nov. 28, 1981, in Biloxi, Miss.

Surviving are the mother of his children, Lisa Taylor of Apple Valley, Calif.; one son, Justin (and Sarah) Taylor of Abilene, Texas; two daughters, Jessica Taylor and Jenna Taylor, both of Apple Valley; three sisters, Fern (and Gerry) Sealy, Connie (and Jamie) Meyers and Kathy Taylor, all of Peoria; one brother, Rick Taylor of Peoria; several nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Judy Mitchell of Tehachapi.

He was preceded in death by one son, Joshua Taylor; and his parents.

Ronnie worked as an Electronic Warfare Systems Technician for the United States Government.

He was an Air Force veteran, serving from 1981 to 1995.

Cremation has been accorded. Services were held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley.

Local visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Ludwig Mortuary in Morton, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 p.m., with Rev. Gary Salm officiating. Private burial will be at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
