Sadie was a very loving mother; always putting her family first. She loved to cook and enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Spending time outdoors was important to her and she worked in her garden until she entered Maple Crest. Sadie had many friends whose company she enjoyed. She was a great lady and touched many lives in her life time.
She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Henry, Fayette, and Betty (Sheldon) Fox, Randalia; four sons, Tom (Carolyn), Oelwein; Paul (Carolee), Sumner; James (Patricia), Cedar Rapids and Leo (Judy), Dyersville; a daughter-in-law, Lola Jean Woods, Oelwein; 22 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Don, two grandsons, John and Gary; two great grandchildren, Abby and John; a son-in-law, Tom Henry; five brothers, Tom, Joe, Louis, Bernard and Leonard; and three sisters, Margaret, Mayne and Rose.
