Mrs. C. Horner passed away Monday at her home at Brockport after an illness of 18 months. Funeral services were held on May 8 at the home of her brother in Shawmut.
Rev. H.B. Burkett, of Brockway, conducted the services and interment was made in Brockport cemetery.
Arvella Mae Horner was born at Sabula, Pa., April 12, 1898 being the oldest daughter of Joel A. and Elsie Mae Berkey. Her mother preseded her to the great beyond 11 years ago.
She was married to Clarence E. Horner in Shawmut June 3, 1914. Besides her husband and father she is survived by 2 bothers, Joseph A. of Shawmut and Arthur R. of Bradford, also three sisters, Myrtle, Genevieve and Elsie of Brockport, and the following children at home, Charles, 15; Althea, 13; Ruby, 11; Glenn, 9: Thelma, 7; Vivian, 5; and Vernon, 3.
Mrs Horner was a patient sufferer throughout her entire illness and passed away peacefully, with the full assurance that all was well with her soul.
