Thomas Loa Ramage was killed in the Scofield Mine disaster. He was buried with 199 other good miners, some here in Scofield, some elsewhere in Utah and 12 buried outside of Utah. Imagine the widows. I read many children were given up as orphans after this disaster. The closer one looks into this the worse it gets. There is no bright spot any where.
March 30, 2015 addition .....Thomas was married on Apr 4 1900 to Christina Aikman Gilbert. He was killed on May 1 1900, less than a month later. Their son Thomas was born Jan 12 1901. Christina later married James Oscar Robertson. See #85294163
