Funeral services were held Sunday, July 13, at 3:30 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Burial was in the Giles Memory Gardens with Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Birdsong was born in Giles County, TN, on March 14, 1918. He was a retired merchant with a business in Elkton, TN. He was also a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Wassie Birsdsong of Elkton, TN; one son, Julian McNeese of Pulaski, TN; three sisters, Louise Cunningham of Pulaski, TN, Elizabeth Boatright of Harvest, AL, and Jessie Hasting of Dallas, TX; one (step) grandson, Todd McNeese of Pulaski, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
