A wedding of much interest to the people of this community, on account of the principals being so well and favorable known, was solemnized Monday of this week when Miss Pearl Supermaw became the bride of Mr Ray Deets. The ceremony took place at the M E parsonage, Rev R L O'Neil performed the ring service. The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Bert Supermaw and is very popular with the young people of this community. The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs P W Deets and he too, has a host of friends here. Immediately after the ceremony they left for Hutchinson where they will spend a few days attending the State Fair, which to this happy pair will hold the ? of the "World's Fair".

Obituary Wichita Eagle, Tuesday, Oct 17, 1972 Dexter, Kansas- Services for Raymond M Deets, 73, farmer and stockman, will be at 2 pm Wednesday in the Dexter High School auditorium. He died Monday. Survivors include his widow, Pearl; son, Vernon, Burden, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs Francis Taylor, Kingman, Kan, and Mrs Kenneth Meece, Las Vagas; brother, Milton, Great Bend, Kan., and five sisters, Mrs Viola Godfrey, Hollywood, Calif, Mrs Inez Darst, Dodge City, Kan, and Mrs Velma Rains, Mrs Mildred Hathaway and Mrs Hazel Couchman, all of Garfield, Kan. Miles Mortuary Burden, has charge.
