Kathleen Marie Kuester Kathleen Marie Kuester, age 55, of Tallahassee, died Friday, April 2, 2010, in Tallahassee, FL. At the request of the deceased, no funeral service is to be held. A native of Philadelphia, Kathy and her family have lived in Tallahassee since 1989. She met her husband of 31 years in Fort Lauderdale where they lived for 10 years during which time both of their children were born. Kathy was a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and worked for the Florida Department of Transportation for over 30 years. She started as a bridge tender while attending FAU and ended her career as Manager, Work Program Development and Operations. Kathy enjoyed running, rowing, hiking, fishing and traveling with family and friends. Survivors include her Husband, Edward F. Kuester III, and Son Edward F. Kuester IV of Tallahassee; Daughter, Elizabeth Marie Kuester of Chalmette, LA; Mother, Marie Bell of Lady Lake, FL; and Sisters, Patricia Jones of Belleview, FL, Barbara Bell of Ocala, FL, Tracy Duncan of Ridgefield, CT, and Elizabeth Splendorio of Statesville, NC.
