Originally buried in the Cannonsville Cemetery, Cannonsville, Delaware Co, NY. Due to the construction of the Cannonsville Reservoir in 1963, his body was disinterred and reburied in the Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Clarence and Irene Hathaway, Benjamin's relationship to them was listed as Great-Great-Uncle.
