Lydia and Jacob had twelve children: Robert (1), Jacob, Samuel, Benjamin, Josiah, Abigail, Nancy, Robert(2), Elizabeth, Sally, Lydia and Harriet.
Jacob served his country as a Major in the War of 1812.
He died on 25 Dec 1831 in Tompkins (Cannonsville), Delaware Co, NY, aged 60 years 02 months 17 days.
He was originally buried in the Cannonsville Cemetery, Cannonsville, Delaware Co, NY, but his remains were disinterred and were removed to Oakwood Cemetery in 1963 during the construction of the Cannonsville Reservoir, under the direction of Clarence D. and Irene T. Hathaway, who listed Jacob as a relative, he was in fact their Great-Great-Grandfather.
