Orville Wesley Breeden, 66, of East Galesburg, Ill., passed away very suddenly at his home at 12:02 a.m. April 19. He was born at Seahorn, Ill., on October 15, 1902. He was the son of Joseph Harvey Breeden and Lulu Maude (Reed) Breeden. He was married to Carrie L. Baker March 9, 1921, at Kahoka, Mo. She survives with three sons: James of East Galesburg, Robert of Galesburg and Donald of Knoxville, Ill.; two daughters: Mrs. Anna Maud Rockhold, of Galesburg, and LaVeta Pearl Stone of Rockwell City, Iowa. Thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Nellie Curfman, Bushnell, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son John William and a brother George. He was a member of Bluff Springs United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Monday, April 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Hinchliff - Pearson West Chapel, burial was at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Services were conducted by Rev. Merideth J. Bailie, pastor of Farnham Street Wesleyan Church, Galesburg, Ill. Pallbearers were: Robert J. Coe, Jr., Clarence Wilson, John Davis, Hoyt Elmore, Louie Orms and Morris Hogan.
