MRS. NETTIE E. WILES, 79, Waynesboro Rt. 4, widow of H. Guy Wiles, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past five years.
She was a daughter of the late John and Emma (Rouzer) HessEmma (Rouzer) Hess. Her early life was lived at Rouzerville and following her marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Wiles lived at Harrisburg for 27 years, returning to this area in 1939. She was a member of Rouzerville Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son Harold F., St. Thomas Rt. 1; one grandson; two brothers, Joseph Hess, Waynesboro Rt. 2, and Allen Hess, Smithsburg Rt. 2. Md., and one sister, Mrs. Rhoda Diehl, Hagerstown Rt. 5.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grove Funeral Home here, the Rev. Glenn L. Slahl officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until services Tuesday.
