Joseph Wade Davidson, age 78 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at St. Mary's of Scott County. He was born December 31, 1931 in Scott County to the late Tommy Owens and Elizabeth (Thomas) Davidson. He was a Member of the Morning Star Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Anna Jean Posey Davidson; Brothers: DeWitt West, John Henry West, Jolly Edward Davidson and Buster West; Sisters: Pearlie West and Betty Lou Davidson Green.
He is survived by his Children: Kenneth Davidson and wife Paula, Joseph Davidson and wife Jesel, Doris Jean Barnett and husband Dale, Dennis Lee Davidson and wife Teresa, Johnny Davidson and wife Angie, Rebecca Ann Hamby and husband Dwayne, Timothy Dwayne Davidson and wife Denna; (18) Grandchildren; (18) Great Grandchildren; Brother: Tommy Davidson; Sister: Imogene Stanley of Stayton, Oregon; Very Special Friend: Mary Lou Davidson; several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday Morning, April 14, 2010 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida, Tennessee with Bro. Kenneth Davidson Officiating. Burial will follow in the Troxell Cemetery in the Highpoint Community.
