Tommy Davidson, Jr., 74, of the High Point community, passed away November 29, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born June 20, 1936, he was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Sr. and Elizabeth (Lizzy) Thomas Davidson; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Savannah Laxton; brothers: John Henry, James Silas (Buster), and Dewitt West, and Jolly Edward and Joseph Wade Davidson; and sisters: Pearlie Boles and Betty Lou Greene; materal grandparents: John Henry Thomas and Minda Thomas.

He was a born-again Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Davidson of the High Point community; daughters: Patsy Sue Phillips and husband, Steve, and Elizabeth Ann Reed and husband, John; son, Michael Davidson; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, sister, Imogene Stanley and husband, Clyde; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted December 2, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Davidson and Bro. Tommy Craig officiating. Interment was conducted December 3, at Cotton Cemetery.

West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
