from abstract: first burial between 1874-1877. Mr. & Mrs. Moore and their two small daughters were traveling by wagon from San Antonio to Bandera. Mrs. Moore became ill & the family sought refuge from inclement weather in the home of Clause Evers. Mrs. Moore died and was buried a short distance from the house. (small metal and paper sign)
