She loved to travel the United States, but had no desire to visit foreign countries. She would travel with one of her best friends, Lena Baker.
She died at Torrance Memorial Hospital, after exploratory surgery. She never recovered from the anasthetic. I had to have them pull the plug, then I had to tell her mother. She was preceded in death by her father, her brother, Arthur Charles Mosteller, and two of her three children; Shelley Lynn and Kevin Charles Walker.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Margaret Walker; a half-sister, Sharon Diane Rogers Lee and her son Shannon Joseph Lee; 2 step granddaughters, Michelle Chaffin and Anna Castor. There are also numerous cousins. Her friends, Lena Baker, Cookie, Elaine Harris Sharman and Louise Tabor.
