Earl Clinton Presley was born March 24, 1887 in Albion, New York to Charles Warren and Katherine Sampson Presley. He served in the 364th Infantry Company K 91st Division of the US Army from April 29, 1918 to April 21, 1919 attaining the rank of Private. After his service in the military, he bought a farm in Arizona and spent the rest of his life as a farmer and rancher. On Sept. 1, 1946 after not answering a call from his sister Pearl, she went to his home to find him deceased on his floor, it was later determined he suffered a heart attack.

He is survived by his mother Katherine McCarthy of Fulton, New York, step-father Harold McCarthy of Fulton, New York, sisters Katie Burt of Oneida, New York, and Pearl Robbins of Littlefield, Arizona; brothers Lyle of Oswego, Glenn of Washington State, Carl of Fulton, New York; and Ray of Syracuse, New York. Several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a sister Jessie Presley, and father Charles Presley both of New Haven, New York.

Burial will be at Hurricane City Cemetery in Utah with military rites at graveside.
