GOSHEN - Kim M. Christofeno, 50, of CR 111, died of cancer at noon on Monday, April 19, in her residence. She had been ill since August 2009. She was born May 13, 1959, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Kenneth and Nancy (Lybarger) Springer. She was also preceded in death by a stillborn brother, Kenneth. She had lived in her home since August 1993. She was a member of Retired Teachers of Elkhart County, was a 1977 graduate of Heritage High School, Hoagland, IN, a 1981 graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts, Master's in Teaching from Indiana University in 1986. She had worked at Tractor Supply, retail sales, as head of the clothes department. On Dec. 29, 1990, she married Michael A. Christofeno, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jon Christofeno and Nick Christofeno, both at home; and a brother, Tim (Tina) Springer of Noblesville, IN. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 23, in Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, with Pastor Wes Bontreger of the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church officiating. Burial will be at Yellow Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 21, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 22, in Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen.
