He departed this life on Sunday, June 26, 1994 at E.A. Conway in Monroe, LA.
He joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at an early age. He married Sis. Blanchie Lard in April, 1966.
He leaves to cherish his memories a very loving friend until death, Sis. Ella R. Davis, four sons; Jermaine Davis, Cedrick Bolds, Jerry Tyler, and Vivian Bernard Moffett (Sara), four daughters, Joyce and Sharon Moffett, Quiana Jefferson (John), Katina Davis, two stepdaughters Tammy Davis and Brenda Key, five sisters, Ceola Tatum, Nora Jones, Eula B. Heard, Flossie Murray, and Jennie Talley; one brorher, Charles Lee Heard. He also had one sister and seven brothers to preceed him im death; seventeen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
