Ruby was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Tom Davis and the wife of Gus Gilstrap. She died
at the age of 26 of TB.
She was survived by her husband and
parents, a sister, Miss Mae Davis, and four
brothers, Carl Davis, Claude Davis, Johnnie Davis, and Alvin Davis.
Her funeral was held on Thursday,
December 5, 1940 at Calumet Baptist
Church, conducted by Rev. Lloyd Pace
and Rev. Earl Roach.
Burial: West View Cemetery
