Mrs. Herman Kletzien, 73, died at her town of Schleswig farm home, R. 2, Kiel, early Wednesday evening following a brief illness. Nee Ida Duchow, she was born in the Town of Rantoul, Calumet County, Dec 18, 1879, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Duchow. On Dec. 1, 1915 she was married to Mr. Kletzien of the town of Schleswig. He died in October, 1952. Mr. Kletzien operated a farm in Schleswig since their marriage.
Surviving are a son, Victor Pomranke on the home farm; a sister, Mrs. William Schmidt of Valders, and a brother, Adolph Duchow of Collins.
Services will be held at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, with the Rev. Victor Vriesen officiating. Burial will be in the Ucker, Road cemetery.

Ida was also married to William Pomranke in December 13, 1900. He was a son of August Pomranke. He was engaged in the manufacture of cheese in the town of Stockbridge. He died of typhoid fever.
