Ella Klimstra Rus was the wife of Jacob Rus, also buried here and the daughter of Klaas Klimstra and Katherine "Kate" VanZuiden. Ella was the mother of Tena Rus Meinema, Raymond Rus, and Hilda Rus Graham. Her great-great-granddaughter, Ella Christene Inez Holland, who is buried at Flatwoods Methodist Cemetery in Camden, TN, was named in her honor.
