He was born Sept. 9, 1985, in Guanajuato, Mexico, a son of Pablo and Rosalva (Trejo) Acevedo. He moved to Torrington with his family and graduated from high school in 2005. He attended Eastern Wyoming College and transferred to the University of Wyoming where he was pursuing a degree in engineering.
He loved to hunt and motorcycles. He had a great sense of humor. Family and friends were very much a part of his life.
He is survived by his parents of Torrington; three sisters, Rosa Acevedo of Denver, Colo., Pabla Acevedo and Rocio Acevedo of Torrington; and an uncle, Antonio Acevedo of Torrington.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fidel Rodriguez.
A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Torrington with the Rev. Father Michael Carr officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Valley View Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel in Torrington. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. at the church.
