Henry died as the result of an accident. His team of horses were frightened by the train in Beloit, Wisconsin and he was thrown under his wagon and run over. He is buried in the Campbell/McNeill plot (Section 8, Lot 25) Greenwood Cemetery formerly known as the North Rockford Cemetery. His wife Sarah is also buried at the same location.
