Mrs. Doris S. Achilles, wife of Dr. William E. Achilles, died at 4:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family home, 80 Monroe street, after an illness of several months. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, William E., Jr.; her mother Mrs. Anna Wilcox Blanchard; and one sister, Mrs. Cecelia D. Marvin, both of Covington, Pa.; and a brother, William W. Blanchard of Folcroft, Pa. A prayer service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and 2:30 o'clock at the First Baptist church with the Rev. Fred T. Drewett of the First Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
