Charles Willis Babcock, 77, former resident of Painesville, died Sunday at 10 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. P. J. Ruhling, of Perry, following an attack of influenza a month ago.

Mr. Babcock, before moving to the home of his daughter a year ago, lived in Painesville nearly all his life, coming here when a boy. He was the son of Charles W. and Almira Babcock. Until ten years ago, when he retired, he was a master machinist, and was last employed by the New York Central railroad.

Charles Willis Babcock, 77, former resident of Painesville, died Sunday at 10 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. P. J. Ruhling, of Perry, following an attack of influenza a month ago.
