Born in Johnson County on February 20, 1900, she was the daughter of the late A.M. and Mary Elizabeth Rice Fitzpatrick and a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs.Roxie Rivers of West Van Lear and one niece and one nephew.
Funeral services for Ms. Fitzpatrick were held Saturday, October 13, in the Chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Reverends Eddie Young and John Marshall officiating.Burial was in the Wells-Buckingham Cemetery in Paintsville.
Serving as pallbearers were Elroy Blair, William Blair, Jr., Dan Schmidt, Jim Cox, Brother Watkins and Jimmy Mason. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
