Oak Place, the Lewis Miller mansion in Akron, Ohio, built in the 1860's. It's here that Thomas A. Edison married Mina Miller, (his second wife), on Feb. 24, 1886. The house still stands today.

The Miller Mansion, Oak Place, in Akron, Ohio. It still stands today and has been converted into 18-apartments. Miller's original carriage house also is still standing as an apartment house.

THe Miller family plot around 1898, not long after Lewis Miller's burial. As you can see when compared to more modern photos, there weren't many graves there at the time. The roadway around it was dirt.
