LAST TRIBUTE IS PAID AT CHURCH
Funeral for Michael Heisler is Attended by Friends and Relatives
Funeral services for Michael Heisler were held yesterday morning from the family residence, 215 Eighteenth Ave West, at St. Clement's church where Rev. Father Edward, the parish priest, conducted the ceremony. A large number of the friends and acquaintances of the family attended. The chief morners were: Mrs. Heisler, Miss Mamie B. Heisler, Mrs. W. H. Tait of Superior; George Heisler and Mrs. M Wengler of St Paul, a niece.
After the service in the church the remains were taken to Union Depot for shipment to St Paul, where the interment took place in Calvary cemetery in the afternoon. Henry Heisler of Chicago, who came to the city at the time of his father's death left for St. Paul Sunday to prepare for the burial. The remains were accompanied on the journey by George Heisler of the city.
Among those who met the train in St. Paul was Mrs. R. Gluek of that city, sister, and the only member of Mr. Heisler's family in America.
Mr. Heisler made preperations years ago for a family vault on his plot in Calvary cemetery, where already one emember of the family, a daughter, who died shortly after the family came to the city, is buried.
Among the floral offerings, which were numerous and beautiful, was a large pillow presented by the Builder's Exchange, of which Mr. Heisler was a member, and a wreath from the milinery department of Panton and White, where Miss Heisler is employed.
The other two sons, William and Joseph Heisler, of Harrisburg, Miss., who were unable to be present at the funeral, are expected to arrive home this week for a visit.
