Mrs. Anna E. Phillips, aged 71, wife of James Phillips, of near Khedive, died at her home Saturday night, Dec. 22, 1934, at 10:15 o'clock.

Mrs. Phillips was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Crago, and was born April 10, 1863, near Rices Landing. She was married in 1881 to Mr. Phillips. Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church.

Her children were Albert Nelson Phillips, Frances Mae Phillips, Mary Alice Phillips, James Frederick Phillips, Joseph John Phillips, William Wayne Phillips, Annabelle Phillips, Nathan Conrad Phillips, and Robert J. Phillips.

3 Crago brothers in this family originally came over from England in 1753.
