Marion F. Baxter, MD, 85, formerly of Glastonbury, died Sunday (May 2, 2010) at Hartford Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Newton, MA on July 6, 1924, daughter of the late Howard A. and Louise (Warren) Baxter, she grew up in South Windsor and had lived in Glastonbury for twenty years.
Marion Baxter received her undergraduate degree at Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA, and received her medical degree from Tufts University, Boston, MA, and was on staff at Hartford Hospital and Mid-State Hospital.
She leaves her caregiver and friend, Ingrid Fraize, and friends, Bob and Edie Starr.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Center Cemetery, 993 Main Street, South Windsor.
