NOTE: The second oldest child, Nettie Lee, (she's listed as the oldest in the 1900 census) later changed her name to Grace Janette - the name on her grave marker is Grace J. Murphy

8/7/1926 In Memoriam
W.T. Chester, 61 years old, died at his home, 1509 S. Blackwelder Avenue, Saturday afternoon. Besides his wife, he is survived by seven sons and four daughters, T.J., E.P., L.R., C.L., and E.T. Chester, all of Oklahoma City, W.S. Chester of Fort Worth and D.P. Chester of Purcell; Mrs. N.L. Simpson of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Z.A. Ferriott of Waco, and Mrs. N.I. Cox and Miss Lois Chester of Oklahoma City. Services will be conducted from the Capitol Hill funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Willa Short. Burial will be in Sunny Lane cemetery.
