Clarence A. Anhalt –Clarence A. Anhalt, 75, of Route 2, Kiel, died February 8th at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, where he had been taken after being stricken with an apparent heart attack at his home.

Born April 1st, 1903, in the town of New Holstein, he was a son of the late Charles and Anna Laures Anhalt. He attended school in the Town of New Holstein.
On October 27th, 1928, he married Violet Lechler at Waukegan, Illinois.

The couple resided in Chilton and later moved to Kiel, where they lived since 1936.
Mr. Anhalt worked for the Stoelting Brothers Company in Kiel for 40 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Brost of School Hill and Mrs. Blou Kay Schumacher, Edgerton; a son, Charles, Wisconsin Rapids; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Elmer Anhalt of rural Kiel, and a sister, Mrs. Viola Bargenquast of Chilton.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel, with the Reverend John F. Baumann, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Easton Cemetery, Town of Eaton.
