VIOLET M. ANHALT

Violet M. Anhalt, 90, of Kiel, died Saturday evening, Nov 26, 1994 at Willowdale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein.

She is the former Violet Lechler born Dec. 29, 1903, in the Town of Eaton, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Emma Strassman Lechler. On October 27, 1928 she married Clarence A Anhalt in Waukegan, Ill. Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death on February 8, 1979. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, St. Peter's Ladies Aid, Eaton Ladies Aid, Swamp Edge Homemakers and the Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include one son, Charles (Betty), Wisconsin Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Jane (Joseph) Brost, School Hill; Blou Kay Schumacher, Edgerton; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Burial will be in the town of Eaton Cemetery.
