Mike H, Lechler, 66, of Route 1, Kiel, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, where he had been a patient for 10 days.Born in the Town of Eaton on December 15, 1907, he was a son of the late Ferdinand and Emma Strassmann Lecher.He attended Elder Grove School.
On June 27, 1931 he married the former Florence Rabe at Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners.
The couple located on the Lechler home farm in the Town of Eaton.
For 11 years, prior to his retirement two years ago, Mr. Lechler was employed at the A.A. Laun Furniture Company, Kiel. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Anhalt, Kiel, and two brothers, John, rural Kiel,and Helmuth, Kiel.
