EDWARD DAVISON
Edward Davison of Tecumseh died in Tecumseh at 3:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, March 12, 1963, as a result of a heart attack while in his car at Tecumseh. His age was 74 years and two months.
Born January 12, 1889 to Oliver J. and Caroline (Shasteen) Davison. he attended school in Tecumseh and did some farming in his early years.
He married Miss Maude Hartley of Tecumseh May 1, 1910 at Tecumseh. Seven children were born to them. Mr. Davison did some work for the Keim Construction Company of Tecumseh from 1915 to 1936, and worked for the W.P.A. from 1936 to 1943. Moving to Portland, Ore., he worked from 1943-1945 in the Oregon shipyards. He had employment for the Portland Stages during 1945-46. Returning to Tecumseh he once again worked for the Keim Construction Company, part of his employment being part-time work. Mr. and Mrs. Davison celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1960.
Mr. Davison had attended the Methodist church early in his life. Later he attended the First Baptist church of Tecumseh.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Edward C. Davison, who died in Lincoln in November, 1960.
Surviving Mr. Davison is his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lena) Lunsford of Waldport, Ore., Mrs. William (Mary) Malone of Waldport, Ore., and Mrs. Wayne (Goldie) Hart of Tecumseh; three sons, Louie Davison of Semi valley, Calif., Robert Davison of Portland, Ore., and Gerald Davison of Tecumseh; his twin sister, Mrs. Carrie Tripp of Hebron and another sister, Mrs. William (Eithel) Robinson of Tecumseh, 23 grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.
