Old Aunty Coles, of Wiconisco, widow of George Coles, passed to the realms beyond on the night of St. Valentine's day. She was afflicted with pneumonia, and the ravages of the dreaded disease were too much. She was born in Monmouthshire, Wales* {sic}, Jan 20, 1815 and came to America more than a quarter century ago, finally locating in Wiconisco. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon in Wiconisco cemetery, where Rev. T. W. Rowbottom officiated. J.S. Reiff was funeral director. The children surviving her are William, of Pittsburgh; Thomas and George, and Mrs. Hannah Vaughn, of Easton, all being present at the funeral. Geo. W. Coles, Esq, of Carlisle, a nephew, was also present. - obituary
