She was married to General Granville Sr and they had 8 children.

6 Sons: Jessie Granville, Johnnie Granville, Roosevelt Granville, General Granville Jr, Willie B. Granville and Hollis Granville.

Services were held Sunday, August 26,1973 at 2pm in the Sanctuary of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Kathleen, Georgia with Rev B. W. Chamber officiating.
