Eva was the daughter of Charles Emery Tillman Sr and Frances Alice Dismuke and the wife of Fred W. Waters whom she married on March 25, 1939.
Sister to Katie Foster, Sophie Cole, Barbara Morris, Juanita Howard, Vivian Robinson, Betty Howard, Eula Large, Lorraine Wise, Ben Tillman, George Tillman, Charles Tillman Jr., Jessie Tillman, Irby Tillman Sr., and three siblings who died in infancey.

...and the angels danced on the day Eva went to heaven and Jesus stood at the right hand of our Father to welcome another Saint into his Kingdom.
Eva Mae Tillman Waters, 82, of Pascagoula, Miss. peacefully passed away on Dec. 13, 2004, at her home, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and joined her beloved husband Fred in eternity.
Eva was born Sept. 1, 1922, in Pascagoula to Charles Emery Tillman Sr. and Frances Alice Dismuke Tillman and married Fred. W. Waters on March 25, 1939.
Eva was a faithful, long-time member of St. John's Episcopal Church, and as the matriarch of the family, her example of love and charity touched many lives.
Eva enjoyed spending time and making memories with her family and friends, needleworking, gardening, sharing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and serving our Lord. Her love and kindness touched us all. Her beautiful handwork will be a living memorial of her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Fred W. Waters; sisters, Katie Foster, Sophie Cole, Barbara Morris, Juanita Howard, Vivian Robinson, Betty Howard; brothers, George Tillman, Charles Tillman Jr., Jessie Tillman, Irby Tillman Sr.; and two sisters and one brother who died in infancy.
She is survived by her children, Judy (Charles C. Sr.) Williamson, Lynda (Jerry W. Sr.) Howell, Fred A. (Diane) Waters, and Jeff (Kathy) Waters, all of Pascagoula; her grandchildren, Dr. Teresa Williamson, Charles (Jo Ann) Williamson Jr., Billy (Kim) Williamson Sr., all of Pascagoula, Jerry (Teresa) Howell Jr. of Bossier City, La., Wes (Lenny) Howell, Dr. Kellie (Aaron) Pettis, all of Ocean Springs, Cody (Kacee) Waters Sr. of Tampa, Fla., Jody (Dean)
Williams of Mobile, Ala., Henry (Shannon) Waters, Seth Waters, Nathan Waters, Kayla Waters, all of Pascagoula; great-grandchildren, Carpenter Stevens, Charles Stevens, Ashley Williamson, Emily Williamson, Clay Williamson Jr., Jacob Williamson, Billy Williamson Jr. and Taylor Mae Williamson, all of Pascagoula, Zachary Howell, Hannah Howell, and Olivia Howell of Bossier City, La., Alexis
Howell and Anna Kate Pettis of Ocean Springs, Natalie Waters, Cody Waters Jr., Sarra Waters of Tampa, Fla., Devin Williams, Madelyn Williams and Ashton Williams of Mobile, Ala.; and countless friends near and far. Eva is also survived by her sisters, Eula (Bill) Large of Vidor, Texas and Lorraine Wise of Vancleave; brother, Ben Tillman of Pascagoula; sisters-in-law, Annette Riley of Pascagoula, Patty Waters of Moss Point, Alice Waters of Providence, R.I; and brothers-in-law Owen Waters of Pascagoula, and Louis (Myrna) Waters of LaRose, La.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at St. John's Episcopal Church with Father John Gibson and Father Dennis Ryan officiating.
Her eight grandsons will serve as pallbearers and her seven great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Those who desire may make memorial contributions to St. John's Episcopal Church, 3507 Pine Street, Pascagoula, Miss., 39567.
Interment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park, Pascagoula, Miss.
