The services were held at Meiselwitz Funeral Home with the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Eaton Cemetery.
He was born in the Town of Schleswig January 25, 1901, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Rabe.
A bachelor, he was employed for 11 years at the Hipke Canning Company in New Holstein, retiring three years ago. For the past year and a half he lived with a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Truman Rabe, Town of Schleswig.
A World War II veteran, he served from October 1942 to February 1943. He was a member of the New Holstein American Legion post.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Glenroy Wendling, Collins, and three brothers, Harvey and Truman, both of Route 1, Kiel, and Clarence, Collins.
