BATCHELOR, EVELINA H., 96 - of Belleplain, died Tuesday in Burdette Tomlin
Memorial Hospital. Born in Belleplain she was a lifetime resident and the
daughter of the late William and Anna Layton Harris and the wife of the late
Walter G. Batchelor. Mrs. Batchelor was a homemaker she enjoyed crocheting and
reading. She was a member of the Belleplain United Methodist Church. Surviving
are her sons and daughters in law, Winfield S. and Zilphey Batchelor, Gary R.
and Donna Batchelor both of Belleplain, daughter in law Althea "Pat" Batchelor
of Haleyville, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 11 great, great
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Walter
Henry Batchelor and a daughter Evelyn Batchelor. Graveside funeral services will
be held at Head of The River Cemetery on Rt. 49 in Estell Manor on Friday at
11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the Belleplain United Methodist
Church. Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman Funeral Homes, Port Norris and
Leesburg.
