She was born in Ft. Cobb, OK on August 20, 1922 to James and Belva Avery. She was a homemaker, an
avid gardener, and a devoted wife. She loved the Lord and was a member of Howard Memorial Baptist
Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Ben, Jess, Oscar, Tude, George, Joe,
Harry, and sister, Betty. Juanita is survived by her husband Herbert (Hub) of 60 years, 3 children, Carol
and husband Don Whetsell, son Larry and wife Rhonda Shively, daughter Kathy Killam. 6 grandchildren,
Lisa and husband Scott Bradley, Gregory Tillman, Stoli and husband Matthew Stephenson, Jimmy and
Deanna Whetsell, Tiffany Fitzpatrick and Kyle Fitzpatrick, 4 great grandchildren, Amber and husband
Cory Faust, Kristen and husband Adam Robertson, Kourtney and Tyler Whetsell. 4 great great
grandchildren, Jake , Emily and Cayman Faust, Gabrille Robertson. A brother, Jack and wife Sammy
Avery, sister, Rosemary and husband Roy Deonier, many nieces and nephews and friends. Services will
be at 2:00 at PM, Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Sunny Lane Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
