Birth Date Source: Book "Genealogies and Biographies of Ancient Wethersfield" Vol II, page 848. She was one of six children of William Woodhouse (March 18, 1717 - Jan 4, 1771) and Mary Walker (died Nov 10, 1796, age 84). William and Mary were married April 10, 1740. William was one of 9 children of Joseph Woodhouse (died Aug 1, 1774) and Dorothy Buck (died Oct, 1771). Joseph came to America from Herefordshire, England in 1710 with his sisters Judith and Hannah. Joseph first appears in Wethersfield records in 1716 when he bought the home of Thomas Wickham which Judge Adams believed to have been the first brick home in the township. Mary and Benjamin were believed to have resided with their daughter Hannah (nee Weston) Noble and her husband Cyrenus Noble in the Hamlet of Noblesville (now called New Lisbon. We believe this because there are no records of land acquisition by Benjamin Weston after moving from CT. Also because the New Lisbon Register book shows both Benjamin and Cyrenus listed in the road maintenance logs for 1814 - 1818, both in Ward 9. According to the book "History of Noblesville" and the Noblesville Town Map (only known copies of both in the possession of Virginia Schoradt (New Lisbon Historian), Cyrenus Noble (and presumably his wife Hannah Weston and her parents Benjamin and Mary) lived on the SE corner of Hwys 12 and 14 in Noblesville. The house was built by Cyrenus and Elnathan, as a two-family home, with Cyrenus living on the North Side of the building and Elnathan living on the South Side of the building. The Nobles had a store on the North / NW corner of Hwys 12 and 14. That building is still standing.
