Mrs. Sarah Lehman, widow of Adam Lehman, died suddenly at 4:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Lehman. She became suddenly sick during the night and death ensued after a few hours. Coroner Zech issued the death certificate, giving cause of death as embolism. Mrs. Lehman was 78 years old.

She leaves the following sons and daughters: Clinton and Frank Lehman, Jacobus; Henry Lehman, Glen Rock R.D.2; Mrs. Purd Hildebrand, Stewartstown R.D.2; Mrs. C. E. Messman, Jacobus; Mrs. Eli Howard, York; Mrs. Warren Hannigan, Cross Roads, and Mrs. Fred Hildebrand, Glen Rock. She also leaves four brothers, Michael Ness of York; and Henry, Franklin, and Wiley Ness, Dallastown; and one sister, Mrs. William Flinchbaugh, of Felton.

The body was removed this morning to the funeral home of N.J. Leader, Jacobus, to be prepared for burial and will be taken back to the home of Clinton Lehman, Thursday. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the house. Further services will be held at the Codorus Church of the Brethren, and interment made in the adjoining cemetery.
