On the 27th day, of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen, Administration of the Goods and Estate of Abraham Annis of Wells in the County of York and Commonwealth of Massachusetts husbandman deceased Intestate was granted to Jonathan Hill Jun, of said Wells Gentleman who gave bond to the Hon. John Mooney Esquire Judge of the probate of Wills (? squiggle). In and forsaid County of Strafford in the final sum of Two thousand dollars with sureties to wit -- Thomas Saltmarsh and John Sargent both of Gilford in the County of Strafford husbandmen for the faithful discharge of that trust according to Law.
