Albert Barrett, 78, of Ozark died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, in Van Buren. He was born July 7, 1929, in Mountain Top. He was retired from Southside Turkey Farm, a member of the United Church of God and preceded in death by his parents, Cortis and Gladys Dickerson Barrett and niece Donna Wofford.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Ted Darling officiating with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
He is survived by one sister, Floy Wofford of California; one brother, Vendor Barrett of Ozark; one niece, Debbie Wofford of California; two nephews, David Wofford of California and Sam Wofford of Altus; and dear friends, Maudine and Ron Craig of Ozark.
