The marriage record for John & Sarah on FamilySearch confirms that John's father was Samuel. However, this record states that they were married in Greenwich Twp, Warren Co, not in Burlington Co, NJ.

My response: My sources are multiple but I'm not sure how reliable. Much of my Crouse family research was done before the Internet, a cousin and I checking records in town halls, courthouses and libraries, etc. So Greenwich Twp. may well be correct. More research is obviously needed!
