Mary and her husband Severt were both killed by autos in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Severt got off a streetcar and was hit by a truck, in 1930, Mary was walking down a sidewalk and was hit by a car, in 1932. Mary and Severt lived in Minnesota during the Cloquet fire, about 1912, she and the kids were sent out of town on a train. They went and stayed with Halvor Anderson, her father. Then Mary and Severt rented a house, the Old Hart place at the end of the road where her brother, Albert lived on the old Huffelbert place. Mary died Sept. 19, 1932 and Rev. E.N. Halvorson also officated at her funeral.

NAVARINO-- Mrs. Marie Peterson, the wife of Syvert Peterson died at Milwaukee last Monday morning. Marie Peterson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Anderson who resided here years ago. She was confirmed and married in Navarino. They lived at different places in Wisconsin and Minnesota. October 23, 1930 Syvert Peterson was fatally injured, being run over by a truck at Oshkosh and died without gaining consciousness. Mrs. Peterson was struck by a car in May, but it was not thought she was hurt much. But she commenced ailing and was in bed the last 6 weeks and the last 2 weeks at Mr. Sinai Hospital where she died September 19th. She was brought to Navarino where the funeral was held September 23rd at the Norwegian Lutheran Church, officiating was Rev. E.N. Halverson and she was buried beside her husband in the Lutheran Cemetery. She leaves 6 children, Palmer, Orville, Melvin, Sylvia, Mamie and Lillian all of Milwaukee, Wis.; 3 brothers,Ole, Gilbert and Albert Anderson of Henning, Minn., 2 aunts, Mrs. Olava Edwinson of Navarino and Mrs. Marie Bentson of Lamberton, Minn. and other relatives at Navarino and elsewhere.
The pallbearers where Carl Knutson, Christ Christianson, Otto Christianson, A.J. Westgor, Nels I Nelson and Ambros Landsverk.
Gilbert Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Anderson and baby of Henning, Minn., came out to attend the funeral of their sister. They are visiting their relatives here for a few days before returning home.
