Memorial services will be held in Alamo Chapels, Tuesday, 30th April at 10:00 a.m. Concluding services will follow in Ft. Sam [Houston] National Cemetery with full military honors.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Dorothy S. Cox; mother, Mrs. Lucy Killen Cox, Winfield [sic Winnfield], La.; sisters, Mrs. Bessie DuBois, Tyler, Texas, Mrs. Ophelia Hooter, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Frances Primrose, Pearland, Texas; brother, James Cox, Winfield [sic Winnfield], La.

Sgt. Cox had been a resident of San Antonio for the past 20 years. Services under the direction of The Lelon Cude Family.
