Lapel Farmer Dies Yesterday:
Lapel, Sept. 7 (Spl.)---Harry Stottlemyer, age 66 died at 11:20 o'clock this morning at St. John's hospital, Anderson, of complications resulting from injuries sustained in a fall. He had lived in this community all of his life.
Mr. Stottlemyer owned and operated a farm, one mile south of here, the past twenty-eight years. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Madison County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Jessie Stottlemyer; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Montgomery, Lapel; two sisters, Mrs. Rowena Moore and Mrs. Ralph Presser, both of Lapel, and two brothers, Richard and Parker Stottlemyer, both of Lapel.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Lapel Methodist church Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Barnes, pastor in charge, assisted by the Rev. E. S. Morford, Muncie.
Burial will be in Brookside cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence from the Fisher Brothers funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
